What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are sent on the electronic device 'client' (PC, tablet, etc. ..) while browsing a website. Cookies are then sent back to the original website during each subsequent navigation, or are sent to a different website that is able to recognize that specific cookie. Cookies act as a memory for a website, allowing the website to recognize your device at each subsequent visit to that site.

Types of cookies

  1. Technical cookies - These are used for the sole purpose of "transmitting a communication on an electronic communications network". Guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to authenticate to access restricted areas). Technical session cookies have a duration equal to the single browsing session and are therefore automatically deleted at the end of the browsing session. They are neither stored nor accessible by site maintenance personnel. Our website uses 'session' technical cookies.
  2. Analytical cookies - They are similar to technical cookies and are those used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on access and number of users and how they use the site. They only pursue statistical purposes. Our website uses analytical cookies.
  3. Profiling cookie - They are those aimed at creating user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of surfing the net. Our website does not use profiling cookies.
  4. Persistent cookies - They are cookies that last longer, as well as the closing of the browser session, often used to allow the website to remember the choices of a user. Our website does not use persistent cookies.
  5. Third Party Cookies - Cookies are set by a domain other than the one visited by the user. The site contains links to other Web sites that have their own privacy policy. These privacy policies may differ from that adopted by the site itself, which therefore does not respond to third-party sites. Our website does not use Third Party cookies.

Most web browsers accept cookies, but you can change your web browser settings to reject cookies, disable existing ones or simply be informed when a new cookie is sent to your device. Pursuant to art. 122 second paragraph of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 consent to the use of these cookies is expressed by the individual through the individual setting that has freely chosen for the browser used for navigation on  the site.
